Mary A. WILKINSON

Mary A. WILKINSON, 75, of Coudersport, PA, died Tuesday, June 21, 2022 in UPMC Cole, Coudersport.

Born February 6, 1947, in Coudersport, she was the daughter of Robert W. and Isabelle “Izzy” Yardlay Gibson.  She was married to Raymond “Butch” Wilkinson, who predeceased her in 1982.  A graduate of 1965 Northern Potter High School, she earned an associate’s degree in business from Corning Community College.  She was employed by Coudersport Attorney Perry Patterson and owned and operated the Credit Bureau in Coudersport.  Moving to Lancaster in 1991, she was employed as a paralegal until 2002, returning to Coudersport.

Surviving are:  a daughter, Jennifer Wilkinson-Rossman of Coudersport;  a grandson, William Cooper Rossman of Coudersport;  two sisters, Nancy J. Gibson of Ulysses and Edith Tanner of Friedensburg;  a brother, Reuben D. Gibson, II of Aztec, NM;  nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Robert D. “Hoot” Gibson;  niece, Kenna Gibson;  nephew, Konnor Gibson;  and her cherished friend, Gerry Bowman.

A gathering to celebrate Mary’s life will be held Thursday, June 30, 2022 at the Hotel Crittenden, 133 N. Main St., Coudersport from 5:00 – 8:00 PM, with Rev. Evon Lloyd offering a prayer at 6:30 PM.
