William A. "Bill" CORY

William A. "Bill" CORY, 78, of Ulysses, PA, formerly of Bethlehem, PA, died Wednesday, January 22, 2014 in his home. Born January 28, 1935, in Easton, PA, he was the son of Earl and Estelle Zengulis Cory. He was a 1952 graduate of Easton High School. In 1956, he married the former Jane Beers, who predeceased him in 1991. On July 15, 1994, in Bethlehem, PA, he married the Karen J. Sterner, who survives. Bill owned and operated the Effort Foundry in Bath, PA for many years and was a past chairman of Lehigh Valley Foundrymen's Association. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Surviving besides his wife, Karen, are: a son, John (Gretchen) Cory of Atchison, KS; five daughters, Carol Cory of Ulysses, Julie (Thomas Newcomb) Zito of Anchorage, AK, Katie (Michael Angelelli) Zito of Mill Hall, PA, Connie (Scott) Collins of Nazareth, Jamie (Daniel) Newcomb of Ulysses; five grandchildren; and canine companion, Rocky. In addition to his first wife, he was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn Wisnieski. A private service will be held at a later date.
