Wayne F. MacKENZIE

Wayne F. MacKENZIE, 72, of Coudersport, PA, died Saturday, October 7, 2023 in UPMC Williamsport following a brief illness.  

Born July 27, 1951, in Port Allegany, he was the son of Daniel N. MacKenzie and Patricia Kaziska MacKenzie O’Toole.  A 1970 graduate of Port Allegany High School, he served honorably with the U.S. Navy in the Vietnam War.  After discharge from the Navy, he was employed in light construction and carpentry.  Later in life he, was employed in factories crafting office furniture, Ethan Allen furniture, cabinets, and paddles for windmills.  

Surviving are: his loving companion of 35 years, Elizabeth; a daughter, Karen; a step-daughter, Jessica (David); two step-grandchildren, Caroline and Owen; two sisters, Coleen McVinney and Pamela (Kirk) Thomas; nieces and nephews.  

Cremation was at Olney-Foust Private Crematory.  Burial will be private.  

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
