Vickie Lynn KEOWN

Vickie Lynn KEOWN, 57, of Trapping Brook Road, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Strong Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness. She was born January 18, 1967, in Williamsport, PA, the daughter of the late Edwin and Margaret (Hewitt) Keown. 

Vickie was raised in Cuba, moved to Kentucky, resided there for twenty years before returning to Allegany County in 2016. In Wellsville, she was Direct Support Professional for Allegany Arc in their Niles Hill Residence. Caring for others was her sole purpose in life, especially for those in need. 

She is survived by her fiancé, Shawn L. Morris of Wellsville; two daughters, Olivia Morris and Isabella Morris; and a brother, Edwin “Kenny” Keown of Kentucky. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by, a brother, Jarett Hinkley. 

Friends are invited to a Graveside Service on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 11 am in St. Joseph’s Cemetery of Scio with Pastor Dan Cacciola presiding. An additional Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
