Valorie J. Ewing
PORT ALLEGANY- Valorie J. Ewing, 56, of Upper Grimes Rd., passed away Tuesday (Aug. 9, 2016) in UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA.
Born November 19, 1959, in Port Allegany, she was a daughter of James B. and Shirley J. Fitzgerald Ewing.
Valorie graduated from Kane High School, class of 1977.
Ms. Ewing was employed with Sena Kean Manor, Smethport, as a dietary aide for 35 years, before having to retire.
She was a member of the Faith Church of Charity, Port Allegany.
Surviving in addition to her mother are three sisters, Melissa J. (Scott) Sanders of Mt. Jewett, Deborah L. (Robert) Cappello and Julie R. Ewing both of Kane, PA; a niece, Courtney Lupole, and a nephew, Steve Sanders.
She was preceded in death by her father, and a brother-in-law, Robert Boedecker.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Friday (Aug. 12, 2016) in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany, where a funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. with Rev. Deborah Mallery, pastor of the Faith Church of Charity, officiating. Burial will be in Grimes Cemetery, Port Allegany.
Memorials can be made to the Faith Church of Charity or the McKean County SPCA.
