Todd A. Raymond
SMETHPORT- Todd A. Raymond, 54, of Rosehill Ave., passed away Monday (Sept. 23, 2013) in Smethport, at his brother’s home, with his family by his side.
Born January 10, 1959, on Bradford, he was a son of Richard G. and Jane L. Lindholm Raymond.
Todd had been employed with Georgia-Pacific Corp. of Bradford, for over 25 years.
He was a lifetime resident of the area and a graduate of Smethport High School, Class of 1977.
Mr. Raymond was a member of St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, Smeth-port. He was also a member of the Beechwood Mens’ Club and enjoyed hunting, NASCAR, Buffalo Bills and Sabres, and Fantasy football.
He lived to spend time with his daughters.
Surviving besides his mother, Jane Raymond of Smethport, are his two daughters, Jacqueline “Jackie” Raymond and Julia R. Raymond, both of Smethport; three brothers, Paul E. (Gail) Raymond and Kurt J. (Janiel) Raymond both of Smethport, and Mark R. (Mary) Raymond of Tempe, AZ; a sister, Mary Lee (Leroy) Lucas of Harrisburg, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends will be received from 9-10 a.m. Friday (Sept. 27, 2013) in St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, Smethport, where a memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. with Rev. Vince Cieslewicz, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth’s Cemetery, Smethport.
Memorials can be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Elm & Carlton Streets, Buffalo, NY 14263; St. Elizabeth’s Church Building Fund, or Community Nurses, Inc.-Hospice, 757 Johnsonburg Rd., St. Mary’s, PA 15857.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
