TURTLEPOINT- Timothy P. Elliott, 75, formerly of Turtlepoint passed away Saturday (Nov. 30, 2024) in Lakeview Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Smethport.

Born October 23, 1949, in Wellsville, NY, he was a son of William J. and Alice Grigsby Elliott.

He was a lifetime resident of the area.

Tim was employed with AJ Greene of Bradford, and later with Taylor & Armstrong Construction Co. of Eldred before his retirement.

He was a former member of the American Motorcycle Association. Tim was a man that could fix anything with an engine. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting & fishing whenever possible.

Surviving is a daughter, Joni L. Britton of Smethport; a son, Timothy P. (Susan) Elliott of Emporium; several grandchildren and 4 great-grand-children; three brothers: Daniel Elliott and Jon Henry “Jack” (Jane) Elliott both of Smethport, Richard (Carol) Elliott of Hazel Hurst; and a sister, Melody McDowell of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Candy L. Buzzell; and two brothers, William and Jerry Elliott.

At Timothy’s request there will be no funeral service. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
