Thomas D. Cox
PORT ALLEGANY- Thomas D. Cox, 68, formerly of Port Allegany and St. Mary’s, passed away Monday (Jan. 4, 2021) in the Bradford Regional Medical Center.
Born April 15, 1952, in Coudersport, PA, he was a son of Waldo J. and Caroline C. Hill Cox.
Thomas had worked at EL-CAM for 36 years, before his retirement.
Surviving are two brothers, Charles M. (Lynn) Cox of Port Allegany, and Timothy J. Cox of Alfred Station, NY; two sisters, Jean E. Stamilio of Greenville, NC, and Martha J. Cox of Port Allegany; two nieces, Rebecca Ehert, Avery Marie Mitchell, and two nephews, Tony and Stephen Stamilio, and a great-niece, Lyla Grace Mixter.
A private funeral and committal service will be held at the convenience of the family, with Rev. John Minor, pastor of the Gospel Tabernacle, Coudersport, officiating.
Burial will be in Rathbone Cemetery, Hebron Township, PA.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
