Terry Lee DAVIS, 78, of New Port Richey, FL, died Wednesday, December 21, 2022 surrounded by her family.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 18, 2023 at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, 621 South Main Street, Ulysses, PA. Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.
Born June 18, 1944, in Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of George J. and Edith Morley Davis. A graduate of Goshen High School, Goshen, NY, she earned a bachelor’s degree in English from SUNY New Paltz and a master’s in education degree in reading from Bloomsburg University. She also studied at Lancaster School of Theology and Evangelical School of Theology. Terry taught secondary English and was a reading specialist. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Mohnton, PA. Her family remembers her as fun-loving, caring, kind, smart, a writer, an artist, a teacher, a musician, and a very giving person. She loved her friends and family dearly and in return was so very loved back.
Surviving are: three daughters, Anne (William) Kenworthy of Charlottesville, VA, Julie (Glenn) Millard of Bloomsburg, PA, and Kelly Powell of Spring Hill, FL; a son, Brett (Hollee) Kolk of Mount Joy, PA; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Cheryl (Glyn) Lovely of Presque Isle, ME; a nephew, David (Valerie) Lovely of Wells, ME; an aunt, Maude Morley of Ulysses; and many cousins.
