Sue VanSickles Benjamin
KANE- Sue VanSickles Benjamin, 59, of Chase St., formerly of Crosby, PA, passed away Sunday (April 2, 2017) in UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA.
Born June 13, 1957, in Olean, NY, she was a daughter of Henry B. and Orvella Lathrop VanSickles.
Sue was longtime resident of the area and attended Smethport High School.
She had been a nurse’s assistant at Cole Memorial Hospital and Sweden Valley Manor, both of Coudersport.
Surviving are a longtime companion, Thomas Crowe of Kane; a son, Ronald Button of Eugene, OR;
3 grandsons; a brother, H. Bradley (Mary) VanSickles of Mercer, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. Saturday (Apr. 29, 2017) in the Crosby United Methodist Church, with Rev. Randall Headley, officiating.
Memorials can be made to the Crosby United Methodist Church or Crosby Fire Department.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
