Steven L. GOSS

Steven L. GOSS, 65, of Shinglehouse, PA, died Friday, January 10, 2025 in Olean General Hospital, Olean, NY. 

Born February 13, 1959, in Canandaigua, NY, he was the son of Kennard E. “Shorty” and Irene M. Romig Goss. A U.S. Army Veteran, he served honorably from 1976 – 1979. He was employed as a heavy equipment mechanic by L.C. Whitford in Wellsville. Steve was a member of American Legion Post #530 in Shinglehouse. 

Surviving are: his companion of over 30 years, Pamela Palmer; four brothers, Ken E. “Jr.” (Linda) Goss of Mabton, WA, Michael A. Goss of Olean, Lester H. (Alicia) Goss of Coudersport, and Toby J. (Nicole) Goss of Millport; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents. 

Friends may call at The First Baptist Church of Ulysses on Thursday, January 16, 2024 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Parker Hill Cemetery, Sunderlinville, with Military Rites accorded by members of the Potter County Honor Guard.
