Shirley A. HOSMER

Shirley A. HOSMER, 88, of Scio, NY, died Tuesday, December 10, 2024 in her home. 

Born January 5, 1936, in Wellsville, she was the daughter of Charles Burwell and Eva Cornwell Pressler. She was married to Charles Edward Hosmer, who predeceased her on March 31, 2014. Shirley was employed in housekeeping by Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville for 21 years. She was a member of Riverside Assembly of God. 

Surviving are: a daughter, Dorothy Lang of Olean; grandson, James (Jaime) Trebik; five great-grandchildren, Alyssa Trebik, Ashley Trebik, Chelsey Horton, Landon Horton, and Kamdyn Cross; a great-great-grandson, Flynn Goodsell; nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by three sisters, Carol, Mary, and Ina Mae; and four brothers, John, James, Richard, and Thomas. 

Friends may call at Riverside Assembly of God, 3218 Riverside Drive, Wellsville on Monday, December 16, 2024 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, with Funeral Services following at 11:00 AM. Rev. John Francisco will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellsville.
