Shirley C. BILLINGS, 69, of Hallsport, NY, died Wednesday, February 26, 2025, in Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville.
Born July 6, 1955, in Wellsville, she was the daughter of Ronald and Beverly Grace Smith Billings. In spite of her handicaps and health issues her entire life, Shirley never let them hinder her from being a part of whatever activities her family was doing. Her family and friends have always been important and special to her. Her nieces and nephews have always held a special place in her heart and life. Babysitting was especially a highlight in Shirley’s life. Another highlight in her life was church. She was a volunteer at Southern Tier Youth for Christ. Shirley took great delight in photographing many family events and shopping for her family members.
Surviving are: two brothers, Rodney Billings of Wellsville and Robert (Jamie) Billings of Charleston, SC; a sister-in-law, Dawn Billings of Independence; nieces and nephews, Mandie Cardon, Kenneth (Amanda) Billings, Daniel (Alexandra) Billings, Dennis Billings, Sylvia Billings, Craig Billings, Kyle (Jessica) Billings, Christopher (Payton) Billings, BaileaSue (David) Watrous, Erin (John) Ballew, Anthony (Heaven) Billings, and GracieSue Billings; several grand-nieces and grand-nephews; uncles, Daral (Sandra) Smith of Eldred and Gary (Faith) Smith of Addison; and an aunt, Sharon (Tom) Houghtaling of Wellsville. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Billings, Jr.
Friends may call at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Cremation, Crowell Chapel, 296 North Main Street, Wellsville, NY on Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 2:00 PM. Rev. Matt Havens will officiate. Burial will be in Beech Hill Cemetery.
