Selden J. YOUNG

Selden J. YOUNG, 91, of Westfield, PA, died Thursday, February 12, 2015 in Westfield, PA. Born May 25, 1923, in Bingham Township, PA, he was the son of Claude C. and Mary M. Bunnell Young. He was employed by Air Preheater in Wellsville, NY and was a self-employed contractor. Selden was a member of the Westfield Area Historical Society and past president of the Westfield Area Lions Club. Surviving are: three sons, Steven J. (Brenda) Young of Carrollton, OH, Terry L. (Patricia) Young of Harrisburg, PA, and Wayne L. (Lillie) Delic of Dupont, DE; a daughter, Virginia S. (Edward) Allen of Andover, NY; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Kinter of Wellsville, NY and Jean Newbury of Ulysses; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Mary Lou Shutt; his second wife, Myrtle Perry; a brother, Joseph Young; and three sisters, Claudia Byerly, Ella Johnson, and Marion Empson. Friends may call at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM, with Funeral Services following at 11:00 AM. The Rev.
