After graduating from Whitesville Central School, Ruth earned a Baccalaureate Degree in Music from Nyack College. She taught music at Whitesville Central School and later directed music at several churches, which was her true passion. Ruth enjoyed a career with Automatic Data Processing in New York City for 25 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Alice Ruth Marino; and a son, Paul Robert Marino both of NYC; two sisters, Elizabeth Shores of Roanoke, VA. and Cindy (James) Van Druff of Huntersville, NC, as well as two nieces and one nephew. She was predeceased in addition to her parents, by a brother-in-law, Blake Shores.
Friends are invited to call on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Gospel Chapel, 441 Park Street in Whitesville, New York. The funeral will follow at 1:00 pm in church.
