Ruth B. MORLEY, 94, of Palmyra, NY, formerly of Ontario, NY and Ulysses, PA, died Thursday, January 2, 2014 in the Wayne County Nursing Home, Lyons, NY. Born August 13, 1919, in Hector Township, PA, she was the daughter of Cleon C. and Pauline Barker Buck. On April 24, 1942, in Ulysses, PA, she married E. Dewitt Morley, who predeceased her on March 22, 2012. A graduate of Lewisville Vocational High School in Ulysses and Mansfield State Teachers College, she did post graduate studies at Oswego, NY and Brockport, NY, earning an administrative certificate. She taught for four years in Ulysses Elementary, three years in Dansville, NY, 25 years in Ontario, NY, and served for 12 years as principal of Ontario Primary School. Ruth was a member of the Ontario First Baptist Church, Ontario, NY. Surviving are: daughters, Lynne Morley (Mark Rickert) of Pittsford, NY and Nancy (Richard) McCarthy of Palmyra, NY; a son, Major James D. (Jeannie) Morley of Dillwyn, VA; and four grandchildren, Christopher, Niki, Jeremy, and Tiffany; and a sister, Janice (Marshall) Folts of North Canton, OH. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Paul B. Buck. Friends may call at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 10:30 - 11:00 AM, with Funeral Services following at 11:00 AM. Rev. Jason K. Reed will officiate. Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery, Ulysses, PA. Memorials may be made to the Palmyra Reformed Church, 232 Canandaigua Street, Palmyra, NY 14522, the Ulysses Library, P.O.
