Ruth DERHAMMER, 93, of Whitesville, NY, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in her home, where she was born, married, and raised her family. **********A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 24, 2015 in the First United Methodist Church, Whitesville, NY.********** Burial will be in Whitesville Rural Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.olneyfuneralhome.com.�½�½ �½�½ Born July 8, 1921, she was the daughter of Raymond and Anna Austin Robbins. On December 8, 1945, she married Marvin K. Derhammer, who predeceased her on January 27, 2003. She was employed by Whitesville Central School, Worthington, and Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville. Ruth was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church in Whitesville. She was at coffee clatch every morning with her friends and enjoyed life through laughter and her "giggles." Surviving are: two daughters, Ann (Richard E. Miller) Derhammer of Burke, VA and Robyn Lynch of Whitesville; three grandchildren, Erin Lynch, Emily Miller, and Jennifer Miller; a great-grandson; Austin Williams Miller; nieces and nephews; and feline companion, Tina Marie. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Addie (Robert) Kellogg and Winifred Cramer; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lucille (John) Sweeney. �½�½ �½�½
