Rosemarie K. Denmark
PORT ALLEGANY- Rosemarie K. Denmark, 71, of Knapp Rd., passed away Thursday (Feb. 11, 2016) at her home.
Born August 8, 1944, in Danzig, Germany, she was a daughter of Leo and Gerda C.V. Pieper-Loch Strecker. In Florida, she married Cyrus J. Denmark, who survives. They were married 30 years.
Rosemarie was a graduate of the University of Munich, Munich, Germany, with a Bachelor of Science and a Masters degree both in Chemistry. She was also a licensed agent with New York Life, and a LPN nurse for many years before her retirement. She was also co-owner of Whispering Springs Research Ranch, of Port Allegany.
She was a resident of the area for 22 years, coming from Bradford, PA.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Cyrus, are two sons, Christian M. Miklosovic of Chesapeake, VA, and Thomas C. Miklosovic of Port Allegany; a daughter, Angela C. (Stephen) Wolfe of Kane, PA; five grandchildren; two step-daughters, Holly (Ronald) Peffer, and Catherine (James) Munson both of Bradford; a stepson, William Denmark of Florida; three step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Monday (Feb. 15, 2016) in the Birch Grove Mennonite Church, Two Mile Rd., Port Allegany, with a memorial service at 5:30 p.m. with Rev. Dale Detweiler, pastor, officiating.
