Ronald L. MUNDT

Ronald L. MUNDT, Sr., 69, of Whitesville, NY, formerly of Bloomfield and Rochester, NY, died Sunday, February 19, 2012 in his home. Born June 4, 1942, in Rochester, NY, he was the son of William and Harriet Pearl Mundt. He was employed as a carpenter with Canadice Construction. Surviving are: his companion of 14 years, Jacqueline R. Peck; four sons, Ronald (Vonda) Mundt, Jr. of Andover, NY, Len (Joanne) Mundt of San Antonio, TX, Ryan (Annie) Mundt of Missoula, MT, and Shawn Taylor; a daughter, Alicia Taylor; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; eight siblings, Gloria Earl of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Gordon Mundt of Myrtle Beach, SC, Aileen (Don) Dobles of Spencerport, NY, Marilyn Armstrong of Rochester, Norbert Mundt of Harrisville, NY, Kenneth (Dorothy) Mundt of Honeoye Falls, NY, Ron's twin Sandra Chapman of Geneva, NY, and Karen (Earl) Powe of Fairview Heights, IL; nieces and nephews; and very special friends, Carol, Rick, Dan, Jake, and Sarah. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Tammie DeGraff; and two brothers, William and Gerald. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 25, 2012 in the Whitesville Fire Hall, Whitesville, NY. Pastor Michael West will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Visiting Nursing Association, 112 Park Ave., Wellsville, NY 14895.
