Ronald D. MILLER, 59, of Harrison Valley, PA, died Friday, March 14, 2014 in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY. Born May 21, 1954, in Coudersport, PA, he was the son of Raymond F. and Violet M. Dean Miller. He was married to the former Catherine Bogle, who survives. He served honorably with the US Navy from 1972 - 1978. Ronald was employed by Allegany Township as roadmaster and as a mechanic by Ruter's Potato Farm. He was a member of Carl E. Hyde American Legion Post #963 in Ulysses, PA. Surviving besides his wife, Catherine, are: two sons, Duane (Cassie) Miller of Knoxville, TN and Jonathan (Bobbie Jo) Miller of Coudersport, PA; three grandchildren, Briar Miller, Baylee Miller, and Brenton Miller; four brothers, Rodney (Kim Bogle) Miller of Westfield, PA, Martin Miller of Port Allegany, PA, Kevin (Debbie) Miller of Coudersport, PA, and Kelvin (Tracy Cannon) Miller of Knoxville, TN; three sisters, Linda (Rodney) Kuhn and Cindy Miller, both of Knoxville, TN, and Louise Miller of Mansfield, PA; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Raymond F. Miller; his mother Violet Abbey; and two brothers, Meldon C. Miller and Roger F. Miller. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA. Pastor Ed Collins will officiate.
