His list of favorites included: pastime, to pester the wait staff at Sprauge’s with a litany of jokes and sarcasm; place, the Westfield Library; person, his loving wife of 50 years, with his 10 grandchildren as a close second. In his later years, Roger lived out his faith, humbly serving Haskinville Wesleyan Church in every way he could (Phillippians 2:3). Isaiah 40:31 “But they wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as Eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.”
In addition to his wife, Karole, he is survived by: three children, James (Kyle Lohse) Baker, Jason (April O’Quinn) Baker, and Arlenne Baker; 10 grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
