Rodney L. HERSHEY

Rodney Lee HERSHEY, 68, of Roulette, PA, died Monday, November 29, 2021 in UPMC Cole, Coudersport.

Born April 19, 1953, he was the son of Melvin B. and Alma L. Rohrer Hershey.  He owned and operated a dairy farm in Ulysses until 1985, then was self-employed contractor and jack of all trades.

Surviving are:  three children, Becky (Rob) McGuire of Fredericksburg, VA, Bethany Hershey (Yubo) Wang of Baltimore, MD, and James R. Hershey of Anna Maria Island, FL;  several grandchildren;  a brother, Fred Rohrer (Mildred) Hershey of Huntsville, AL;  two sisters, Connie Marie (Russell) Knight of Coudersport and Sherri Ann (Jeff) Gilbert of Ephrata;  a sister-in-law, Laurel Hershey of Coudersport;  his wife, Joanna Maffei Hershey and her children;  nieces, nephews, and cousins.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Rodney Joseph Hershey;  and a brother, Philip Lynn Hershey, on September 11, 2015.

Friends may call at the Gospel Tabernacle, Coudersport on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, with Funeral and Committal Services following at 11:00 AM.  Rev. John Minor, Pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.
