Robert H. TAYLOR

Robert H. TAYLOR, 85, of Wellsville, NY, formerly of Chester, PA, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 in Wellsville Manor Care Center, Wellsville, NY. Born December 14, 1927, in Chester, PA, he was the son of Alfred and Eunity Lower Taylor. On December 22, 1981, in Galeton, PA, he married the former Dorothy B. Rash Foltz, who predeceased him in 2004. A US Navy Veteran, he served honorably from November 30, 1945 until November 29, 1947. He was employed as a welder, cabinet maker, and carpenter. Surviving are: a son, Robert "Robin" H. (Susan) Taylor, Jr. of Thousand Oaks, CA; a daughter, Virginia C. Taylor of Glen Mills, PA; a step-son, Thomas E. (Rosita) Foltz of Malvern, PA; a step-daughter, Patricia (Tony) Mingo of Ulysses, PA; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Dorothy, he was predeceased by a brother, David K. Taylor; and a granddaughter, Pamela Mingo. Friends may call at the Olney Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA on Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 2:00 PM. The Rev. Paul M. Karges will officiate. Military Rites will be accorded by members of the Potter County Honor Guard. Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.
