Robert E. BARNER

Robert E. Barner, 61, of Wellsville, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Highland Hospital of Rochester. He was born July 4, 1963, in Daupin County, PA, the son of the late Raymond E. and Wanda Mae (Kemberling) Barner. In 2012, he met his fiancé, Melody Elias who survives. 

Bob was raised in Harrisburg and Dauphin County, PA. He first entered the workforce as a Cook in a Mom & Pop Restaurant in Pennsylvania; for over 20 years he owned and operated his own Carpet and Vinyl business before returning to the kitchen, he was a cook for Perkins for over 20 years, and most recently was employed by Northern Lights Candles for the last four as a production worker. Outside of work he enjoyed model cars, hot wheels, collected knives, had a fascination with wolves and Native American Culture (being especially proud of his heritage), but most of all his passion was cooking. 

He is survived by: his fiancé, Melody Elias; siblings, Ray and Dee; as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a younger sister and younger brother.
