Richard W. G. WHITNEY

Richard W. G. WHITNEY, 65, of Fort Collins, CO, formerly of Rifle, died Saturday, January 10, 2015 in Poudre Valley Hospital, Fort Collins. Born February 11, 1949, in Wellsboro, PA, he was the son of John R. and Miriam Hagedorn Whitney. A 1967 graduate of State College High School, he attended Emerson College from 1967 -- 1971. He was employed by NRC Broadcasting, Mountain Division in Glenwood Springs as an account executive. Surviving are: a daughter, Erin (Joshua) Swann of Fort Collins; and three grandchildren, Sophia, Lilly, and Ryder. He was predeceased by his parents. A graveside service will be held in All Saints Cemetery, Brookland, PA at a later date.
