Richard H. "Dick" FAY, 87, of Potter Brook, Westfield, PA, died Saturday, March 21, 2015 in his home surrounded by his family. Born January 24, 1928, in Fox Hill, Harrison Valley, PA, he was the son of Gordon "Pop" and Ethel Button Fay. On March 14, 1947, in Knoxville, PA, he married the former Eva Seamans, who survives. He was employed by Eberle Tannery in Westfield for 38 years, retiring in 1982. With his wife, he owned and operated Fay's Upholstery Shop for many years. He was active in Westfield bowling leagues, started the Crusaders Car Club for area youth, and coached Little League. Dick's passions in life were his family, photography, woodworking, friends, and his extended family at the cottages in Canada. He was affectionately known as "George" by his grandchildren. Surviving besides his wife, Eva, are: two children, Randy Fay of Westfield and Linda (Donald) Rodman of Clifton Springs, NY; four grandchildren, Mark (Kimberly) Fay, Debora (Ron Wendus) McCullen, Walter (Christina) Rodman, and Christal Rodman; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; three siblings, Phyllis Cutlip of Brooksville, FL, Robert (Beverly) Fay of Westfield, and Alice Grover of Galeton, PA; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Dale Richard Fay; a daughter, Debora Ann Fay; three brothers, William, Keith, and Ronald; and a sister, Marie Adams. Friends are invited to celebrate Dick's life at the Potter Brook People's Church on Sunday, March 29, 2015 with a visitation from 2:00 - 4:00 PM, with closing remarks by Rev. Samuel Brown, Pastor, at 4:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the Potter Brook People's Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 217, Westfield, PA 16950.
