Rhonda Kay HURD

Rhonda Kay HURD, 58, of Galeton, PA, died Sunday, December 15, 2013 in her home. Born December 8, 1955, in Corning, NY, she was the daughter of Glen and Joyce Turner Hanes. She was employed locally by Helpmates and Kane Magnetics. Surviving are: her companion of 13 years, Max Hoppe; her parents, Glen and Joyce Hanes of Galeton; two sons, Michael (Amy) Tanner, III of Tioga, PA, Robert Hurd of Galeton; a step-son, Eric Hoppe of Galeton; a step-daughter, Kara Hoppe of Galeton; three grandchildren; two sisters, Kelly (William) Hackworth of Silver Springs, FL and Tracey (David) Holley of Gold, PA; an uncle, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by an infant son, Edward K. Tanner; and a sister, Kimblya Lottie. Friends may call Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 2:00 -4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA. Services will be held in Parker Hill Cemetery at a later date.
