Ray C. STEVENS

Ray C. STEVENS, 78, of Galeton, PA, died Tuesday, August 12, 2014 in Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA. Born October 16, 1935, in Hector Township, PA, he was the son of Howard and Mayme B. Snay Stevens. On July 10, 1954, in Sunderlinville, PA, he married the former Joyce Carlin, who survives. He was employed by Corning Glass Works. Surviving besides his wife, Joyce, are: a son, Darwin (Hope) Stevens of Westfield; five grandchildren, Tracey J. (Kezia) Stevens, Nicole (Aaron) Gill, Lucinda (Clayton) Duell, Amanda Moore, and Nathan (Loria) Stevens; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; a sister, Audrey (Melvin) Lowrey of Gaines, PA; an uncle, Milton Snay of Coudersport, PA; an aunt, Mary McPherson of Sunderlinville, PA; nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a son, Allen R. Stevens, on December 16, 2008; three sisters, Beverly Neefe, June Flynn, and Wilma Lowe; and three brothers, Lowell Stevens, Ivan "Jeff" Stevens, and Roland "Rip" Stevens. Friends may call at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 2:00 PM. Rev. David R.
