Ralph A. PEASLEY

Ralph A. PEASLEY, 65, of Genesee, PA, died Friday, October 31, 2014 in his home. Born July 19, 1949, in Port Allegany, he was the son of Frank and Ruth Carl Peasley. On September 1, 1970, in Clarion, PA, he married the former Darlene M. Weaver, who predeceased him on January 31, 2009. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from Clarion University. He owned and operated Peasley's Greenhouse in Genesee. Ralph was singer-songwriter of folk, traditional, and blues music. Surviving are: a daughter, Teri K. (Tim) Jobe of Slippery Rock, PA; two brothers, Robert Shelley, Sr. of Port Allegany and John Kethart of Middletown, OH; three sisters, Carol Galford and Jane Kaziska, both of Port Allegany, and Sue Carpenter of Norfolk, VA; nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 8, 2014 in the Ellisburg Union Church, Ellisburg, PA. Rev. Roy Ward will officiate.
