PORT ALLEGANY- Pauline R. Goochee, 72, of Skinner Creek Rd., passed away Wednesday (Oct. 4, 2023)

in UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA.

Born January 22, 1951, in Central Falls, RI, she was a daughter of Leo and Yvonne Charpentier Boucher.  On June 4, 1984, in Chaffee, NY, she married James E. Goochee, who survives.

Pauline was a longtime resident of the area and a graduate of Jamestown Community College, Olean, NY, with a BS in Nursing. She had been employed with several area healthcare facilities, but most recent with the Potter County Office of Aging, before her retirement.

She was a member of the Port Allegany Alliance Church, Moose Lodge 460, Port Allegany, former EMT with the Port Area Ambulance Service, and volunteered at many Potter County Senior Centers.

Surviving in addition to her husband, James, is a daughter, Denise S. Proctor, Eldred; a son, Michael A. (Josie) Lamont of Eldred; 5 grandchildren, a brother, David (Jeanne) Boucher of Falls River, MA; two sisters, Susan Deroun, and Denise Langrois both of Pawtuckee, RI; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at a later time and place to be announced.

Memorials can be made to the Port Allegany Alliance Church or the Port Area Ambulance Service.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
