Paul E. WATSON, 88, of Sweden Valley, PA, died Thursday, March 20, 2014 in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA. Born January 27, 1926, in Prouty, PA, he was the son of Evan H. and Marion E. Hamilton Watson. On March 30, 1947, in Prouty, he married the former Lena G. Ludwig, who predeceased him on April 16, 2012. A farmer until 1965, he owned and operated Ulysses Lumber for many years, then operated heavy equipment building logging roads. He was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle in Coudersport. Surviving are: four sons, Craig (Judy) Watson of West Bingham, PA, Dennis Watson of Belmont, NY, Timothy (Susan) Watson of Sweden Valley, and Douglas (Julie) Watson of Coudersport; 18 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph D. (Priscilla) Watson of Prouty and Clayton E. (Shirley) Watson of Sweden Valley; a sister, Helen C. Reed of Mt. Holly, NJ; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by two brothers, Lawrence and James; two sisters, Virginia M. Harvey and Lena G. Ludwig; a great-grandson, Tucker Watson; and a great-great-granddaughter, Jaycee Morehouse. Friends may call Monday, March 24, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Gospel Tabernacle, Coudersport, PA, where Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Rev. David Minor will officiate. Burial will be in Summit (Watson--Reed) Cemetery, Coudersport. Memorials may be made to the Gospel Tabernacle, Coudersport, PA 16915 or a charity of the donor's choice.
