Paul E. SHAFFER

Paul E. SHAFFER, 69, of Roulette, PA, formerly of Ulysses, died Saturday, December 29, 2012 in his home. He was born September 21, 1943, in Blossburg, PA. Paul was employed by the Eberle Tannery in Westfield, PA. Surviving are: four children, Timothy Shaffer of Ulysses, Kathy (Dennis Jr.) Matteson of Genesee, Brian Shaffer of Genesee, and Paula (Jason) Werts of Roulette; a step-daughter, Bridget Smitson of Weston Mills, NY; ten grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Mathews of Ulysses and Judy (Johnny) Jones of Mills; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, John J. and Dora H. Davis Shaffer; and a brother, Gary J. Shaffer. Friends may call at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 12:00 - 1:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 1:00 PM. The Rev. Duane Burdick will officiate. Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to charity of the donor's choice.
