Pattie E. Abbott

PORT ALLEGANY-Pattie E. Abbott, 62, of Church St., passed away Monday (Nov. 29, 2021) in her residence.

Born November 18, 1959, in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of Raymond M. and Elizabeth A. Britcher Kulp.

Pattie was a longtime resident of the area and a graduate of Port Allegany High School, class of 1977.

She was employed with Saint-Gobain Container Co., Port Allegany, before her retirement.

Pattie enjoyed singing and was also a music DJ. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and softball. She loved  to  feed  and  care for  stray animals.

She was also a member of the rifle team at the Port Allegany High School, competing several years in competition.

Surviving is a son, Stephen (Nicole) Tanner of Eldred, PA; three grand- daughters: Lia and Nora Cook, and Sadie Tanner; a brother, Raymond D. (Cathy Kaziska) Kulp of Roulette; two sisters, Kathleen (Alan) Regier of Witchata, KS, and Susan Kulp of Fairfield, Maine; five nieces; and fiancé, R. James Lilly of Port Allegany.

A private funeral service will be held in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany, with Rev. James Campbell, pastor of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, Port Allegany. Burial will be in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Port Allegany.

Memorials can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
