Patricia A. POST, 69, of Wellsville, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 8, 2018 shortly after arrival at Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville, NY.
Born July 23, 1949, in Wellsville, she was the daughter of Howard E. and Helen I. Crandall Post.
Patricia was employed by the Texas Hot in Wellsville since 1981. Affectionately known as "Patty", she always regarded her Texas Hot co-workers and customers as extended family.
A 1967 graduate of Wellsville High School, she enjoyed bowling in her youth. Patricia was warm-hearted, influential and encouraging on discussions about life and improving life experiences in the face of her own challenges. It made a positive, lasting difference with her daughter Angela's medical education aspirations in becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. Patricia was a meaningful influence upon the mayoral campaign of James Dorsette, in 2016. Patricia placed a heartfelt value on the meaning of life throughout her years. She always knew there would be challenges that life presents and preferred to smile with a shared optimistic view. Later in life, Patricia shared her affection, giving a home to several adopted kittens. She often remarked how much she adored them because - "They make home feel more precious."
Surviving are: a daughter, Angela M. Jones of Wellsville; aunts, Linda and Sandy; and several cousins. She was predeceased by her parents.
