Patricia A. HAND

Patricia A. HAND, 77, of Harrison Valley, PA, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, October 7, 2021 in UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh.

Born December 4, 1943, in Wellsville, NY, she was the daughter of Meldon C. and Hannah A. Lewis Dean.  On July 4, 1961, in Potter Brook, she married William Hervey Hand, who survives.  A 1962 graduate of Northern Potter High School, she was employed by Electri-Cord in Westfield and Oak Hall School for Boys in Brookland, PA.  Pat was a member of the Harrison Valley Auxiliary and the Harrison Valley Softball Assoc.

Surviving besides her husband, Hervey, are:  four children, Denise (Gordon) Lowry of Washington, PA, William Hervey (Wendy) Hand II of Campbell, NY, Candi Hand of Coudersport, and Kiley (Anita) Hand of Sanborn, NY;  five grandchildren, Trisha (Dusty) Brimmer, Cory Johnson, Lily Hand, Owen Hand, and John Lowry;  four great- grandchildren, Brooklyn Brimmer, Cory Johnson, Remington Brimmer, and Ensley Brimmer;  a brother, George Dean of Hebron Center;  many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by five sisters, Blanche Robbins, Evelyne Baker, Hally Lampman, Twilla Wood, and Violet Abbey;  and four brothers, Robert Dean, Merlin Dean, Crawford Dean, and Andrew Dean.

Friends may call Monday, October 11, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Ulysses, PA, where Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM.  Rev. Timothy H. Miller will officiate.  Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.
