Patricia A. Crawford
PORT ALLEGANY- Patricia A. Crawford, 86, of Route 6, passed away on Sunday (Dec. 16, 2012) in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport.
Born June 2, 1926 in Erie, PA, he was a daughter of Glenn and Minnie Lindstrom Meacham. On Sept. 7, 1946, in Port Allegany, she married Donald D. “Doc” Crawford, who died Apr. 17, 2004.
Mrs. Crawford was a lifetime resident of the area and a graduate of the Port Allegany High School, Class of 1944. She had been employed at the former Cameo Doll Factory of Port Allegany and Sylvania Co. formerly of Emporium.
She was a member of the Gethsemane Lutheran Church, and Women of the Gethsemane Lutheran Church, both of Port Allegany.
Surviving are two sons, Kevin D. (Janann) Crawford and Rance A. (Laurie) Crawford both of Port Allegany; four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald, three brothers, Corwin Meacham, Donald Meacham, and Gary Meacham.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 19, 2012) with Rev. James Kazimer, pastor of the First Church of God, Eldred, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Port Allegany.
Memorials can be made to the Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Port Allegany.
