Patricia A. Hults
TURTLEPOINT- Patricia A. Hults, 75, of Rock Run Rd., passed away Saturday (Apr. 29, 2017) in the Buffalo General Hospital.
Born December 29, 1941, in Olean, NY, she was a daughter of Owen D. and Virginia M. Drabant Cole. On Dec. 17, 1960, in Turtlepoint, she married Darrell L. Hults, who died Apr. 16, 2017. They were married 57 years.
Patricia was a lifetime resident of the area and a graduate of Port Allegany High School, class of 1960.
Mrs. Hults worked with Northern Tier Community Action Corp., Head Start, as a family service worker.
She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Eldred. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and also taking road trips with her husband, Darrell and daughter, Dawn.
Surviving are a daughter, Dawn R. (Tim) McNeil of Turtlepoint; two grandsons: Josh McNeil and Nickolas Maynard; a son-in-law, Michael O. Maynard of Eldred; a brother-in-law, Larry W. Hults of Newport Richey, FL; two sister-in-laws, Sylvia Cole of Frederick, MD, and Jody Postlewait of Port Allegany; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Darrell, a daughter, Lori Maynard; a brother, Gary L. Cole; and a brother-in-law, Duane L. “Dody” Hults.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday (May 5, 2017) in St. Galbriel’s Catholic Church, Port Allegany, with Rev. James Campbell, pastor and Rev. Charles Schmitt as co-celebrants. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth’s Cemetery, Smethport.
A scriptural wake service will be held at 1:40 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to the Port Area Ambulance Service or Star Hose Fire Dept., Port Allegany.
