Nancy S. COOK, 67, of Andrews Settlement, PA, died Wednesday, June 11, 2014 in Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA. Born March 26, 1947, in Potter Brook, PA, she was the daughter of Cleo J. and Gladys O. Houghtaling McCaslin. On May 7, 1979, in Potter Brook, she married John L. Cook, who survives. She was homemaker and a lifelong area resident. Surviving besides her husband, John, are: two daughters, Tammy Tubbs of Galeton and Kathey Eck of Coudersport; a son, Phillip Tubbs of Mills; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; five sisters, Mona (Everett) Silsby of Andrews Settlement, Ada Reynolds of Potter Brook, Joy (Duane) Stiles of Westfield, Thelma (Norman) Smith of Potter Brook, and Candy (Robert) Dunn of Ulysses; a brother, Erwin (Audrey) McCaslin of Potter Brook; nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Harvey McCaslin, Frederick McCaslin, Lyle McCaslin, and Joseph McCaslin; and a sister, Ila May Smith.
