Milton J. WEISS, 79, of Ulysses, PA, formerly of Galeton and North Bingham, died Friday, July 13, 2012 in the Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. Born February 4, 1933, in Summit Township, Coudersport, PA, he was the son of Edward J. and Violet Hogancamp Weiss. On October 2, 1953, in Pearl River, MS, he married the former Maria Alvarez, who predeceased him on October 27, 2000. A Korean War Veteran, he served honorably in the US Army from 1951 - 1954. He was employed by Ingersoll-Rand and Dresser-Rand in Painted Post, NY. A long-time resident of the area, he attended the North Bingham Community Church and Zion Christian Assembly in Ulysses. He was a member of Raymond Richar VFW Post #6611 in Galeton and the Harrison-Ulysses-Genesee Senior Center. He was an avid outdoorsman. Surviving are: two sons, Joseph (Diane) Weiss of Galeton and Shane (Robin) Weiss of Wellsboro; a daughter, Tina M. Morris of Gaines; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert D. (Mary Ann) Weiss of Elmira, NY; a sister, Carol Flynn of Elkland, PA; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Edward "Pete" Weiss; and two sisters, Donna Truax and Elizabeth Weiss.
