Milford M. LOVETT, 84, of Canastota, NY, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 in the Lutheran Home, Clinton, NY.
Born December 12, 1931, in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of Irvin L. and Marie A. David Lovett.
On April 3, 1955, in Wellsboro, PA, he married the former Beverly J. Williamson, who survives.
He was employed by Patterson Lumber Co. in Galeton, PA, Warren Bros. Roads Co. in Syracuse, NY, and Button Construction Co. in Chittenango, NY. He was member of Operating Engineers #545 in Syracuse, NY.
Milford was an adherent of the Seventh-day Adventist faith.
Surviving besides his wife, Beverly, are: a son, Milford Michael Lovett, Jr.; three daughters, Melody Akins, Melissa Penny, and Melinda Jayson; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Frances Lovett and Lucille Andrews. He was predeceased by granddaughter, Jennifer Akins.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in the Mills Cemetery, Mills, PA.
