Michael Lee ABBOTT, 47, of Westfield, PA, died Saturday, May 30, 2015 in Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA. Born December 23, 1967, in Wellsboro, he was the son of John and Elaine Mosher Abbott. A 1986 graduate of Cowanesque Valley High School, he served with the Pennsylvania National Guard. On March 28, 2007, in Wellsboro, he married the former Tamara L. Hurd, who survives. He was employed as a truck driver by Sherwood Enterprises in Ulysses. �½�½Mike was an avid hunter and card player. Surviving besides his wife, Tamara, are: his mother, Elaine Abbott of Little Marsh; three children, Tonya Abbott of Mansfield, Beverly Jean (David) Martin of Elkland, and Zachery M. Abbott at home; two step-daughters, Terri Ann Bryant of Galeton and Tammy (William) Pond of Lewistown; four grandchildren; three brothers, John Abbott, Jr. of Bolivar, NY, James Abbott of Leesburg, VA, and Dennis Abbott of Addison, NY; five sisters, Sheila (Gerard) Dauphinais of Mansfield, Sarah Abbott of Springwater, NY, Theresa Abbott of Thomasville, NC, Kimberly Smith of Hornell, NY, Denise (Kevin Moon) Abbott of Little Marsh; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father; and an infant daughter, Cheryl Lynn Abbott. Friends may call Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday in the Potter Brook People's Church. The Rev. E. Matthew Zehr will officiate.
