Mary Lou Silvis
PORT ALLEGANY- On Wednesday (July 14, 2021) after a brief illness. Mary “Mim” Lou Silvis entered the glorious kingdom of our Lord. We danced on January 21, 1965, the day she entered this life as the daughter of Raymond G. Silvis and Nancy J. (Timblin) Gadley. Today her family and friends weep as we say our final farewells here on this earth.
Her love lives on in her lifelong companion of 28 years Brian D. Neal, her two sons Trevor R. (Kris-Ann) Neal, Trent D. Neal; her stepchildren, Brian D. (Carla) Neal, Jr., Carra G. (Craig Neely) Neal, Brandon R. (Amber Taylor) Neal, Karissa A. (Todd Nichols) Neal; her grandchildren, the loves of her life: RayAnna, Kohen, Brandon Jr., Aubrey, Amora, Kaidence, Addison, & Anna Neal, Carson and Cyerrah Neely, Tricelynn Taylor, Kaymen Nichols, Eliza and Olivia Milliron; her sisters Sonja (Gary) Zacherl , Sally Himes, Peggy (Bruce) Fuller, Lisa ( Randy) Martin; her brothers Harold (Kathy) Silvis Timothy (Starr) Silvis, her brothers-in-law Robert Neal, Jack Shaw, Justin Shaw; and sister-in-law Leslie (Steven Caskey) Neal. Those also heavy in heart are her numerous nieces and nephews.
She is now enjoying the most beautiful reunion with her parents, stepfather John Gadley, brother James Silvis, sister Kelly Kinner, brothers-in-law, Junius (Butt) Himes and Shawn Neal, sister-in-law, Lori Roller, and her beloved nephews Sam and Stevie.
There will be no viewing, but a celebration of Mim's life will be held Saturday (July 24, 2021) from 12-4 p.m. at Hazel Hurst Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society (SPCA) of McKean County (Bradford, PA).
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
