Marsha J. Jenkins
ELDRED- Marsha J. Jenkins, 52, of Sun Valley Rd., passed away Thursday (Jun 16, 2011) at her home, with her family by her side.
Born February 12, 1959, in Wellsville, NY, she was a daughter of Richard J. and Mary J. Hall Butler. On Feb. 14, 1987, in Coudersport, she married Tim A. Jenkins, who survives.
Mrs. Jenkins had worked several years for Charles Cole Hospital, Coudersport, before having to retire.
She was a longtime resident of the area and a former member of the Birch Grove Mennonite Church of Port Allegany.
She enjoyed her family and spent much of her time with them.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Tim, are a son, Scott P. (Jennifer) Nickerson of Rixford, PA; two daughters, Bobbie J. (Scott) Bosworth of Port Allegany, Brandie N. (Craig) Cobb of Coudersport, stepdaughter, Melissa (Lyn) Reese of Texas; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, Claude R. Butler of Port Allegany, Gary L. (Vicki) Butler of Roulette; two sisters, Marilyn (Robert) Clark of Silsbee, TX, and Shirley Y. Butler of Port Allegany; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Richard J. Butler, Jr.
There will be a memorial service held at 11 a.m. Friday (Jun. 24, 2011) in the Birch Grove Mennonite Church, Port Allegany, with Rev. John Lapp officiating.
Memorials can be made to the Birch Grove Mennonite Church, Port Allegany.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
