Marlyn Jane JACKSON

Marlyn Jane JACKSON, 79, of Borie, Coudersport, PA, died Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport.
Born October 6, 1937, in Olean, NY, she was the daughter of Thomas and Mildred Harris Hurrle.
She was a 1955 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School.
On July 9, 1957, in Alma, NY, she married Dale Andrew Jackson, who predeceased her on April 8, 2012.
Jane served as Summit Township Tax Collector, Summit Township Judge of Election, Summit Township Republican Committeewoman, and a Brownie and Girl Scout leader.  She and her husband were foster parents after their children were grown.  She was a member of North Eulalia Baptist Church for many years and attended Sweden Valley Faith United Methodist Church in recent years.
Surviving are:  five children, Patrick Jackson of Coudersport, Judith (Alan) Lacher of Roulette, PA, Sandra (Michael) Engiles of Homosassa, FL, Kathleen (Brian) Rademacher of Beaver, PA, and Victoria (Daniel) Clarke of Warsaw, VA;  nine grandchildren, Alyssa Engiles, David Lacher, Patrick Lacher, John Engiles, Bryan Lacher, Joshua Rademacher, Emily Rademacher, Margaret Joy Clarke, and Dale Clarke;  two great-grandchildren, Kendall Whitman and Louis Lacher;  a sister, Mary Lou Latten of Olean, NY;  a brother, James Hurrle of Eldred, PA;  and nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Hurrle and Richard Hurrle.
Friends may call at Park United Methodist Church, Coudersport on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Park United Methodist Church, Coudersport, where Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM.  The Rev. Scott R. Ogden and the Rev. Thomas Shatto will co-officiate.  Burial will be in Summit Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Potter County Hospice, c/o Cole Memorial Hospital, 1001 E. Second St., Coudersport, PA 16915.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA.
