Marguerite MONTGOMERY, 89, of Roulette, PA, formerly of Chicago, IL, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 in Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA. Born November 6, 1925, in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of Samuel and Caroline England Cooke. On September 8, 1951, in Chicago, IL, she married Arthur P. Montgomery, who survives. She was employed by Pullman Co. and Time magazine in Chicago. Marguerite was a member of Village Bible Church in Park Forest, IL and attended the First Baptist Church of Roulette. A faithful wife and loving mother, she was known by all for her joyful laughter. Surviving besides her husband, Arthur, are: four children, Carol Jean (Wayne) Nelson of Fairbury, IL, Rev. Martin E. (Vicki) Montgomery of Port Allegany, PA, Richard C. (Debra) Montgomery of Papineau, IL, and Mary Frances (Roddy) Ehrhardt of Minneapolis, MN; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Frances Summers of Columbia, MO; a half-brother, George (Dorothy) Cooke of Frankfort, IL; a sister-in-law, Rosemary Cooke of Marengo, IL; nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her step-mother, Myrtle; a half-brother, Samuel Cooke. A Memorial Service will be held 7:00 PM, Monday, November 17, 2014 in the First Baptist Church, 141 Main St., Roulette, PA 16746. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church P.O.
