Margaret GORG, 93, of Wellsboro, PA, formerly of Germania, died Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in her home. Born May 2, 1920, in West Branch Twp., PA, she was the daughter of Harvey and Estella Wilson Lehman. On December 12, 1940, in Coudersport, PA, she married Clyde A. Gorg, who predeceased her on April 17, 2005. She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm in Germania for many years. Surviving are: a son, Albert (Bobbie Lee) Gorg of Wellsboro; a daughter, Sharon (Jerry) Rawson of Germania; a "special" daughter, Nancy Stamilio of Galeton; six grandchildren, Fred (Kim) Gorg, Scott (Kathy) Gorg, Joe (Ann) Rawson, Kellie (Jim) Succowich, Paula (Dick) Hess, and Cyndi (Todd) Haskins; 13 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marian (Albert) White of Germania, Delores (Donald) Clark of Ulysses, and Louise Schaar of Germania; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Annette Lura Rawson; five brothers, Robert, Raymond, Claude, Richard, and Ivan; and two sisters, Beatrice Gorg and Virgina Clark. A graveside service will be held in Germania Cemetery at a later date.
