Madeline H. VERMILYEA

Madeline H. VERMILYEA, 93, of Ulysses, PA, died Sunday, March 10, 2013 in the Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport, PA. Born February 8, 1920, in Harrison Township, PA, she was the daughter of Stephen and Elsie Robbins Truax. She was employed by Chapman's in Genesee, PA, Smith of Galeton Glove, and Wellsville (NY) Manor. Surviving are: two sons, Lloyd Thompson of Wellsville, NY and H. Gene (Phyllis) Thompson of Ulysses; a daughter-in-law, Marjorie Thompson of West Bingham, PA; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Margery Mann of Addison, NY; nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sons, Larry Bean and Lawrence Raymond Thompson; two brothers, George W. Truax and Keith M. Truax; and two sisters, Onnolee Hall and Ardell Baker. Friends may call at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. There will be no service. Burial will be in North Bingham Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sweden Valley Manor Activity Fund, 1028 E.
