Lois E. WHEATON

Lois E. WHEATON, 88, of Westfield, PA, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Born October 30, 1924, in Hornell, NY, she was the daughter of Frank and Dorothy Campbell Knight. On November 19, 1966, in Westfield, she married Wilford W. "Willie" Wheaton, who predeceased her on June 23, 2008. She was employed by Galeton Production. Lois was a life member and past president of Howard S. Lines VFW Post #6753 Ladies Auxiliary in Knoxville. Surviving are: a daughter, Cheryl (Jim) Cady of Westfield; three step-children, Judy (Alan) Payne and David (Louise) Wheaton, both of Knoxville, PA, and Sandy Marzo of Elkland, PA; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; a step-brother, Franklin "Sonny" Welch of Westfield; nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Frances Whitehead, twin sister, Louise Burdick; a step-sister, Mary Mattison; and a son-in-law, Terry Marzo. Friends may call at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA on Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 10:00 AM- 12:00 Noon, with Funeral Services following at 12:00 Noon. Her nephew, Rev. Duane Burdick will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Knoxville, PA.
