Llewellyn E. METCALF, aka "Bud" or "Slim", 83, of Westfield, PA, died Sunday, April 26, 2015 in Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Born July 8, 1931, in Potter Brook, PA, he was the son of Marion and Ruth Thompson Metcalf. A Korean War Veteran, he served honorably with the US Army for 11 years. He was employed by Eberle Tannery in Westfield, Ed Rieper Farm in Harrison Valley, E.P. Huntington in Coudersport, Hendryx Trucking in Coudersport, Joyce National Powder in Eldred, PA, and PennDOT. Surviving are: a son, Randall E. (Ruth) Metcalf of Emporium, PA; his loving companion and fianc�©e, Jane Wheaton-Leighton of Westfield; three grandchildren, Michael Metcalf, Christopher Metcalf, Travis (Tracy) Metcalf and two great-grandsons, Mason and Steven, all of Austin, PA; a sister, Janice (Clifford) Hanes of Enola, PA; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sons, infant Stanley Metcalf, Raymond Metcalf, and infant Charles Metcalf; and three sisters, Shirley Jean Metcalf, Jacqueline Metcalf, and Geraldine Weeks. A memorial gathering will be announced at a later date. Memorials may be made to Teacher's Pet Rescue, 19 Blackberry Lane, Coudersport, PA 16915.
