Leroy V. Beeson
EAST METHPORT- Leroy V. Beeson, 87, of Route 6, passed away Sunday (Mar. 11, 2018) unexpectedly, in the Bradford Regional Medical Center.
Born October 6, 1930, in East McKeesport, PA, he was a son of Walter and Mary E. Haberfield Beeson.
Leroy was a longtime resident of the area coming from the Pittsburgh area. He was a social person and enjoyed visiting Myra's (now Raught's) restaurant several times a week.
He was employed with Case Cutlery, Bradford, retiring in 2000, with more than 40 years of service.
Leroy was also a veteran, having served with the US Airforce.
Surviving are a son, Roy L. (Joyce) Beeson of Westmoreland, TN; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Walter "Junior" Beeson, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Thomas L. Beeson; a daughter, Vicki L. Uber, two brothers, Richard and Wallace Beeson; and a sister, Roberta Cornelius.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorials can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
